Christine Worrell

 Integrative Psychotherapist, LPC

If you would like to stop fighting with your inner experience and learn how to live from a deeper, wiser place than the anxious mind, I am the right clinician for you.  I help people build new relationships with their thoughts and emotions so they can live with greater peace, presence, and authenticity.

I truly enjoy working with people like these. Do you see yourself among them?

  • Chronic overthinkers

  • High achievers

  • People with anxiety or OCD

  • People who intellectually understand their problems but can't stop thinking

  • Spiritually curious individuals

  • People who have read self-help books but still feel stuck

  • People searching for peace rather than performance

  • Individuals who feel disconnected from themselves despite being successful

What this may look like for you...

You may look successful on the outside, yet find yourself trapped in cycles of overthinking, worry, self-doubt, perfectionism, or relationship anxiety. Perhaps your mind is constantly analyzing, planning, replaying conversations, preparing for worst-case scenarios, or searching for certainty. You know you're thinking too much, but no matter how hard you try, you can't seem to turn it off. The harder you work to solve your anxiety, the more stuck you feel.

What many people don't realize is that this isn't a sign that you're broken or doing something wrong. Your brain is doing exactly what it was designed to do: predict, protect, and search for potential problems. Unfortunately, when the mind becomes overly focused on eliminating uncertainty, controlling emotions, or finding the "right" answer, it can pull us away from the present moment and the life we want to be living. What began as an attempt to feel better can become the very thing that keeps us stuck.

The good news is that freedom doesn't come from winning the battle with your thoughts. It comes from learning a different relationship with them. Through greater awareness, understanding, and practice, it is possible to step out of the endless activity of the mind, reconnect with yourself, and cultivate greater peace, presence, and self-trust.
